New blog? Really?

Because it's just what I have time for, isn't it?

And yet, here I am. I've wanted to have one place to sort of house all my photos for a while now, so this is what you get.

I don't claim to be a good photographer. I don't claim to know that much about photography. Sure, I could take a class, but that requires time and money and I have neither. So let's file that in the "someday" category, shall we?

This is just me, our five year-old Fuji FinePix S 5200 and the odd things I choose to take photos of.

I'll be uploading a whole mess of my photos, and until I get all the ones up that I want to have up here, updates will probably be relatively frequent. After that, however, I'll update whenever I have any other photos I want to share (I bet you couldn't have figured that out, huh? good thing I told you!) on absolutely no set schedule whatsoever.

I can only approximate dates for the photos. They do have dates on them (I'm not completely incompetent, only mostly), but the dates are those of when the photos came off the camera and not when they were taken. Somehow, I believe you will manage to deal.
